SME Chamber of India, Mumbai & Gujarat Industry Development Association have jointly organised “SME Manufacturers & Exporters Summit at Ahmedabad on 28 March 2023. The summit has broadly focused on all aspects of MSME businesses including Exports, Technology, Finance, Investment, Marketing & B2B. The summit was attended by entrepreneurs, industrialists,, professionals, experts, policy makers, State govt’s officials, bureaucrats & B2B service providers. 
 
SME Chamber of India is actively organising such B2B events in the state of Gujarat on a regular basis & provides a platform for knowledge sharing & networking opportunities for participants. The event encompasses various presentations covering wide topics facilitating MSMEs to take advantage of the opportunities. 
 
“MSMEs in India have to play very crucial role to fulfill the ambitious goal of India becoming a USD 5 trillion economy by our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi & particularly Gujarat state has to play an important & major role in fulfilling this goal”, says Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, Founder & President of SME Chamber of India, Gujarat Industry Development Association and Federation of Indian SME Association. 
 
Participants at the summit were enthralled by presentations given by Shri DM Jadeja, Joint Commissioner of Industries, MSME on empowering Manufacturing industries & SMEs for better business growth as well as from Mr. RD Barhat, Joint Commissioner of Industries, Startup Gujarat Cell on role of Govt. for the development of startups. 
 
Some of the other interesting presentations were made by Ms Sajitha Menon, Senior Manager, FX-Retail on forex platform for MSMEs, Enabling Credit for MSMEs in India and role of Transunion CIBIL Ltd. by Mr. Ravinder Singh Saluja, AVP-Commercial, Finance & investment for the growth & expansion by Mr. Suresh Lalwani, Group Executive Vice President, YES Bank and also by Mr.Arpit Sidhpura, Managing Director, Maksteel Wire Healds Pvt. Ltd. who is also Vice President of Gujarat Industry Development Association. 
 
From Tata Group who is one of the sponsors of the summit, a presentation was made on Importance of Life Insurance for MSMEs by TATA AIA & on Greener Renewable Energy and profitable tomorrow by Tata Power Solar. Both the presentations were quite informative and well received by participants. Mr. Jitendra Patel, President of Daffodil Group talked at length about Global businesses & markets and preparedness of Indian MSMEs to face Global challenges.
